Goal & Purpose

Raising Awareness for Animal Fostering

This branding, print and motion project was created for Paws for Cause, an organization that provides adoption services, foster programs, volunteer opportunities, and organizes fundraising events to support animal welfare. The goal was to raise awareness about fostering animals through three different platforms: Instagram posts, a motion ad, and a brochure. The target audience included animal lovers, potential pet owners, local community members, donors, and families who may have the capacity to foster or adopt. The project aimed to engage these groups by highlighting the importance of fostering animals and the impact it has on the community. Research was conducted by understanding the client’s mission and exploring effective strategies to raise awareness, considering the limitations of having three separate deliverables.

From Sketches to Final Design

The journey began with sketching ideas for the three distinct pieces of media, each having its own platform but unified in style. I carefully selected a consistent color palette and design elements to ensure all three pieces—Instagram posts, motion ads, and a brochure—felt cohesive. The project came together relatively quickly as I reused imagery, patterns, and icons across all pieces, adjusting their sizes for each medium. After receiving client feedback to make the carousel post appear as a single scrollable image rather than three separate ones, I made revisions to improve its flow and unity.

Result

A Cohesive and Successful Campaign

I was pleased with how the final project came together, with each piece maintaining a cohesive look despite being created for different media. The client was happy with the outcome, appreciating the unified design across the Instagram posts, motion ad, and brochure. If I were to approach the project again, I wouldn't change anything, as the process and final result aligned with the goals and requirements.
