After Ever After Animation
This motion graphics animation project was created for Andrew Miller. The goal was to produce a roughly 30-second animated short to accompany an audio track. The target audience consisted of book lovers, those who grew up reading fairytales, and poetry enthusiasts. The client’s primary limitation was to keep the video within a 30-40 second range. To find the right inspiration, I initially searched for audio to use but ultimately turned to my sister’s writing journal, which resonated with the themes I wanted to convey in the animation.

From Concept to Completion
The process began with searching for the perfect audio, but when nothing resonated, I turned to my sister’s writing journal for inspiration. I decided to voice the short myself, using one of her poems as the audio track. With a clear vision of how the animation would unfold, the project came together quickly, with minimal experimentation required. There were no revisions or feedback from the client, and the final design remained as originally envisioned.

A Successful Animation
I really enjoyed experimenting with a new art style and creating an animation that synced with audio to tell a visual story. The client was happy with the final project, and I felt satisfied with how it turned out. If I were to do it again, I wouldn't change my approach, as it successfully conveyed the intended message and creative vision.
